Weird Loading Signs

Ok, I'm not truly back, but I decided to post something I've found interesting.

My computer has been REALLY slow lately. When I log on, all my housing items are crates, or bright red. I also saw some interesting things in the loading things. Loading things help a lot for theorycrafting and finding new pets (I remember I predicted the Patriotic Leprechaun using this a while ago....). So here are some of the weird things I've been seeing! You may want to click on the picture to get a better view of the loading thing.
Armored Skeleton, people have been looking for this one, they think it might be a hybrid. Check out this link for a full post on all of the secret pets wizards are looking for.

This one says "Wolverine", but I have a feeling that's just the wildclaw pet, saved under a different name.

Armored Skeleton again.

White Tiger (Possibly another name for the Meowmadon?)

Jaguar! New mount?

Lightning Bats!
Fire Avenger? Possibly the name for the fire elf pet? (Another pet people are looking for).

Anyways, I just thought these were pretty cool. Oh, and don't forget to check out my new group blog Housing101. Until next time, Happy House Decorating!

Afk for a while....

Ever since I started this blog, I've dreaded making a post like this. Recently, I've been very busy and haven't had time to blog much. Now, unfortunately, it has gotten so bad that I'm forced to temporarily stop. I just don't have the time to make posts anymore. No, I'm not quitting forever. It's just a break. I'm not even really quitting Wizard101. I'll still be on occasionally, I just don't have time to operate this blog right now. This break may last a month, a week, or maybe even a few days, I don't know. So, I guess this is goodbye, for now. Happy House Decorating! (I'll be back!)

A Change in Theme

I decided to change around the theme a bit for my Wizard's Watchtower. Progress has been really slow, because I haven't been able to get on much, and the few times I have been on, I've been trying to save money to give to the winners of my contest. I have managed to make a little progress on my house though. I made a ring of triple stacked hedges around the spiral door area (picture wouldn't upload for some reason), and a stage for a band I'll be making later on.
This is just after the spiral door hedge ring. The hedges continue all the way down to the lake.

There's the entrance to the stage.

Singing Statues

When I got the benches, I realized you couldn't see them in the dark. I tried using torches and other flames, but these candles worked best.

As you can see, I haven't hired the band yet. I'm thinking of hiring 'King Parsley'. I might put some Trumpet Vines too. I'd love to put some Coach Potatoes, and float a piano over their TV, so it looks like they're playing a duet, but there's no large soil pots, only medium and small (you need a pot to put them on the stage). I'll try to find another plant that looks somewhat like a human, to play the piano. That's all for now, so....

Happy House Decorating!

Wysteria at Night

Yesterday I was bored. So I logged on to my second account (Little Malorn), and pvped myself for no reason. While pvping, I think I found the way to trigger "Night Time Mode". Between each turn of the pvp match, I had to minimize the screen, to switch to the other account. I think that this may be the way to turn on the dark. I don't think you need two accounts, you just have to minimize your screen a lot. I'll be testing this today to make sure this works. So, here are some pics of my latest night time adventures.

Little Malorn didn't stand a chance....

After I was done pvping myself (in a friends MFP), I had the idea to check out Wysteria at night.

Surprisingly, it wasn't that much darker than normal.

Except the classrooms of course. After that I went to check out the new houses at night.

Nice.... That may have to be the new header.

Or how about this?

Pirate Ship!

The inside was extremely dark.

The Wizard's Watchtower was even darker.

Unfortunately, the inside wasn't as dark. I was looking forward to seeing the contrast between the light of the torches, and the darkness, but I guess not.

After that I went to my Watchtower hall, and decided to try out gardening spells in the dark.

Bug Bolt

Pest Bomb

Sunlight

Meteor Strike!

Deep Freeze

Ice Cube

Back to the Wizard's Watchtower!

Night Time mode is as cool as ever, I'll try to trigger it again, and I'll post if I find anything cool!

Decorating the Wizard's Watchtower

My newest house's theme is "Overgrown Tower". The main idea is  "What would Dragonspyre be like if it got the 'Wysteria Curse'?". So I started out with making the outer grounds just like a normal Wizard City/Pre-Apocalypse Dragonspyre. I even added floating candles.

I didn't have enough candles to float over the entire grounds, so I'll have to get more later.

Eventually you'll get to the castle itself. There you'll see giant vines crawling over the walls.

There's that Celestian Magician again. He always has to be so dramatic doesn't he?
Remember this?

If you can manage to drag your eyes away from the dramatic "statue-in-a-hand-in-a-hand-in-a-whirlpool", then you'll be able to go inside. It looks like the vines managed to break through the windows.

The vine-choked statue still burns with the same fury. Apparently the vines are fire-proof, making them even more difficult to get rid of (Where are those Garden Imps when you need them?)
This passage seems vine free....

Never mind.

I've made a few other rooms, but I haven't completed them yet. They include an survivor's room (lots of food crates), and the heart of the plant (tons of plants, and venus fly traps). I'll post pictures of those as soon as I've finished.

Remember to enter the "Second Chance" Housing Contest if you haven't already. You still have until Friday to enter!
Happy House Decorating!
